The task given to us was to come up with a unique molecular design to offer a solution for a particular disease or gap in the field.

The actions taken included hours of independent research and creative thinking to come up with a design that had been somewhat validated scientifically but not completely done. In addition, a final presentation and paper were completed.

As a result of this project, I have gained valuable research skills that are translatable to the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. In addition, I improved upon my ability to communicate my research to an audience.
